How to Use Discount Codes on Shopify

Shopify allows you to create percentage, fixed amount, free shipping, and buy-X-get-Y discount codes. Generated codes can be imported in bulk via Shopify's Discounts admin section. Use unique codes for each influencer, email segment, or ad campaign to track which channels drive the most redemptions.

For best results, keep codes between 8-12 characters, avoid ambiguous characters (0, O, 1, I), and use descriptive prefixes so your team knows which campaign each code belongs to.
